Privacy Policy — RE/MAX CRM
This Privacy Policy explains how Remax Experts Lebanon (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the RE/MAX CRM mobile application (the “App”). The App is provided to authorized RE/MAX agents and staff for internal customer-relationship-management purposes.
By installing or using the App, you confirm that you have read and understood this Policy.

2. Scope
The App is intended for internal business use only by registered users (real-estate agents, managers, and back-office staff). It is not offered to the general public. Through the App, authorized users process personal data belonging to:
- App users — the agents and staff who log in.
- Data subjects — leads, prospects, clients, contacts, and other individuals whose information the user records in the CRM.
If you are a lead or client whose data has been entered into the App by an agent, that agent (or their brokerage) is the data controller of your information; we act as a data processor on their behalf. Please direct privacy requests to the agent or brokerage that holds your file.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, role, brokerage, password (hashed).
- CRM content you create or upload: leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, tasks, activities, notes, calendar events, line items, visit records.
- Voice notes you record inside the App.
- Files and images you attach to records (e.g., property photos, documents).
- Location you tag against a visit or activity, when you choose to use that feature.
- Communications you send to support.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Device & technical data: device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone, IP address, crash logs, performance metrics.
- Usage data: screens visited, actions taken, feature interactions, session timestamps (collected via Firebase Analytics).
- Push notification tokens: a unique identifier issued by Apple Push Notification service (APNs) / Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver notifications to your device.
- Approximate or precise location, only when you enable a location-dependent feature and grant permission.
3.3 Device permissions we request

4. How we use the information
We use the information to:
- Authenticate users and provide the CRM functionality.
- Create, store, and retrieve leads, contacts, tasks, activities, and other CRM records.
- Send push notifications related to your work (assignments, reminders, alerts).
- Provide map and location features.
- Diagnose crashes, monitor performance, and improve the App.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Legal bases (GDPR / similar laws)
Where the GDPR or an equivalent law applies, our legal bases for processing are:
- Performance of a contract — providing the App to authorized users.
- Legitimate interests — operating, securing, and improving the App; preventing misuse.
- Consent — for permission-gated features such as microphone, camera, location, and push notifications.
- Legal obligation — record retention, responding to lawful requests.
You can withdraw consent at any time by revoking the relevant device permission or contacting us.
6. How we share information
We share information only with:

Service providers acting under our instructions, including:
- Google / Firebase (Analytics, Cloud Messaging, Maps) — analytics, push delivery, mapping. See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Apple (APNs) — push notification delivery.
- Infomaniak SA — application hosting and database storage.
- Your brokerage / employer, which administers your account and can view CRM data you produce in the course of your work.
- Authorities or third parties where required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
7. International transfers
Personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for the period required to:
- Fulfill the purposes described above.
- Comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations.
- Resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Specific retention periods are available on request at info@remax-tripoli.com.
9. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), authenticated access, role-based permissions, and routine security review. The App integrates with third-party services such as Google Maps and Firebase. Their use of information is governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
